1. I am a holistic health coach and entrepreneur, with my own small business, She Lives Fit. My health coaching practice inspired my platform, We Live Fit, which aims to reach women in the community and bring them together to support one another in healthy lifestyle changes. Women have the power to lift each other up, and doing so in an environment focused on self-love and wellness can make a big difference.
2. Art and music are great passions of mine. As a kid, I loved to write stories and draw comic strips. I played piano, flute, and sang. In college, I studied art and sang with the choir, traveling the country performing. My love of art and music led me initially to a career in design, and to teaching voice lessons out of college. Since then, I’ve changed careers, but continue to sing and teach.
3. My husband and I are college sweethearts. We met in choir, and got married right out of school. He is the most loving, supportive man I could ever want, and was the one to encourage me to step out of my comfort zone and participate in the International Pageants. We plan to start a family in the next few years, but for now we are happy focusing on our marriage and our four-legged “children.”
4. This is my first pageant experience. Never before had I imagined being part of such an organization or having the honor of representing my state, but it has been an exciting one so far! I’m not your typical pageant girl – I can do my hair in two minutes, and go from bed to showered and out the door, made-up and ready, in 30 minutes! I am also super practical, and a total bargain shopper.
