My husband and I volunteer together at events organized by the Shrine, Masons, Scottish Rite, and all "arms" of these organizations. I also assist the Shrine's clown group at events including the Shrine Circus that benefits sick children.
I have been married to my best friend Richard for 15 years and I am a very proud mother of four handsome, young men. With four active sons, our family is involved in soccer, track, football, basketball and archery.
I have volunteered over 1,000 hours of community service and have helped over twenty organizations statewide. I work with several non-profit organizations and believe having a servant's heart and loving people are the keys to a happy life.
My platform is Anti-Bullying and as a parent of a bullying victim, I understand the feeling. I am a positive resource for children suffering from this horrible nightmare and I plan to continue traveling, not only my state, but internationally to spread the "It Gets Better" message.
